RO7837195

Other names: RG6730; RO7837195

Modality: p40 x TL1A bispecific antibody

Disease State: Ulcerative colitis (UC)

Summary

RO7837195 is an investigational p40 x TL1A bispecific antibody that is proposed to simultaneously inhibit two key targets that play a central role in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) pathology, interleukin (IL)-12/IL-23 and tumor necrosis factor-like ligand 1A (TL1A), with a single molecule.1-4

Clinical Trials

RO7837195
NCT ID Study Phase Enrollment Status Study Title
NCT06979336 Phase II Recruiting A Study to Evaluate the Efficacy, Safety, and Pharmacokinetics (PK) of RO7837195 in Participants With Moderately to Severely Active Ulcerative Colitis (UC)

Proposed Mechanism of Action

IL-12/IL-23 and TL1A are cytokines that play a central role in promoting and amplifying inflammation in IBD.1-3 IL-12 and IL-23 share the p40 subunit, promote intestinal inflammation, and are strongly associated with IBD pathology.1 TL1A acts as a key amplifier of multiple immune signaling pathways implicated in the key features of IBD, including chronic inflammation, excessive tissue remodeling, and intestinal barrier damage.2,3 IL-12/IL-23 and TL1A are clinically validated targets for the treatment of  IBD.5-8
